How does your pricing work?
Viddler's pricing system is based primarily on the bandwidth used to present your videos. There is also a one-time training and implementation fee. You can see the different packages on the Pricing page. You will be invoiced monthly based on your package level and actual bandwidth and usage for the month.
What is included in the minimum monthly fee?
The monthly fee includes access to the platform itself, support, the player and then usage-based costs for storage and bandwidth. Viddler has a minimum fee of $100.00 per month, which includes storage of 50GBs and delivery of 50GBs. If you deliver or store more than 50GBs in a month, then additional fees are incurred. However the price of buying an additional GB of streaming continually decreases as your volume increases. The platform includes: ability to create a private community (keep all video traffic on your site, not on viddler.com), detailed analytics, priority encoding, HD, iTunes support, full branding capability and much, much more.
Are there any other fees?
Other than the platform fee, usage fees for bandwidth and storage, and ad serving fees there are no other fees charged by Viddler. Viddler was set up so that, for most clients, bandwidth fee is your only charge. We do not nickel and dime you, or lowball you and then pile on the extra charges. This is how we provide price transparency.
As my account activity grows, do I need to change to a larger plan?
Congratulations! You're growing your brand! And Viddler has your back. Unlike a phone company, Viddler will never make you guess what your activity level will be like at the beginning of the month. We will automatically place you in the plan level that will minimize your total costs based on your usage.
Do you offer solutions for advertising?
Yes. For our business clients we have an advertising platform that integrates with all of the leading ad engines. Our advertising solutions are very flexible: we can provide the complete infrastructure and sell the ads, we can leverage your current advertising solution and you can sell the ads, or anything in between. Our ad solutions accommodate pre-roll, post-roll, mid-roll, overlay and companion ads. You can pay for ad delivery or work with an ad revenue sharing plan. Can I use my own ad server?
Most likely yes. As noted above, Viddler advertising solutions are extremely flexible and integrate with most leading ad engines.
Can I sell my own ads?
Yes. You can own the entire inventory and sell you ads. Viddler may charge a fee for ad delivery. We can work together to maximize the CPMs with ad revenue share also.
Do you offer secure video hosting and sharing?
Yes. We have stringent security protocols in place to ensure that video is not shared without the content owner's consent. This includes security features in the player restricting the video to only play in the Viddler player as well as specifying what web sites the player can be embedded on.
But what if I really need to control who is viewing my videos?
Try our white-label secure viewer, which lets you control access to videos on an individual or group basis.
Will my video be available to users of Viddler.com?
Only if you want. Viddler business users are able to create private communities on their web sites and have full control over who views the content. It is possible, however, to fully leverage the Viddler.com community and make your videos available to them as well.
Will my users have to open a Viddler account?
No. Viddler business users can allow their clients to register with their site rather than with Viddler. Our clients can even let their users posts comments without registering with Viddler.
Can my users upload video without knowing my username and password?
Yes! Viddler provides an easy-to-install white-label uploader to allow your users to upload videos to your account.
At what bit rates do you encode?
Content owners using a business account can encode at bit rates up to 1.5 Mbps in flv and up to 4Mbps in HD. We strongly recommend that you consider the connection speed of your audience so that their viewing experience is positive. Generally our business customers encode at 800 Kbps to account for users that do not have high speed connections.
What formats do you support?
You can upload video in these file formats: .avi .dv .mov .qt .mpg .mpg2 .mpeg2 .mpeg4 .mp4 .3gp .3g2 .asf .wmv .flv.
Can I upload to iTunes?
Yes, Viddler works with its business customers to enable distribution via iTunes. Our business users must upload their video in iTunes compatible format ( .mov or .mp4) format and we will return all the necessary information needed to distribute via iTunes.
Can I customize/brand the player?
Yes, Viddler business users have complete flexibility to brand and customize the player. Many of our customers are using Viddler in such a way that their users don't necessarily know that Viddler is their underlying video platform.
Can I embed links in the player?
Again, yes. The video itself can be linked to a page and the logo in the video can be clickable. Our patent-pending inline commenting feature also enables links to be tied to specific moments in the video.
Is it possible to limit video or text comments in the time bar?
Yes, commenting can be enable or disabled and the content owner can also delete comments added by viewers.

What is involved with implementation?
Implementation can be extremely simple or more complex depending on the functionality you want built into the site. In its most simple form, you can enable fully branded video on your site with inline commenting in a couple of hours. Our implementation experts are available to assist in using our tools. There is also a community of Viddler developers that are available for more complex implementations.
Do you provide analytics?
Yes, Viddler offers a comprehensive set of viewing analytics that provides visibility into your video delivery. Viewing metrics are delivered real time and include information based on video, geography and partner account.
